FACE LIFT -- HA! 08/13/08
Looks like August will be another very slim comic month. This cross-country trip is more work than I imagined. I do know that new vote incentives will be posted soon, and thanks so much for all of your votes and linkings back to this site. Once I get settled into my new state/dorm, the comics should start coming sooner. I really can't wait for some of these jokes coming up! COMMUNITY CHEST 07/20/08
Hope your summer is still rockin' out, readers. Just another reminder: I'ma be moving cross country near the end of August, and thus will TRY VERY HARD to have a decent amount of comics up before the move. The first few weeks of September might not see many updates either. Thought I'd remind you before anyone got flustered about missing Faces (did I just type flustered?). With this July storyline ending, and Shari being the last main Face, now the crazy jokes will start coming! It's been fun introducing these characters to you all, but the REAL fun has been writing jokes for ALL of them to interact with each other. I can't wait to show you and would really appreciate ANY comments, yay or nay! Also, seeing as how I'm uncertain if any visitors ever check the Links Page, here's a handful of hilarious comics that I enjoy reading (find them NOW to truly live!): Ed's R Us; Thinkin-Lincoln (floating faces, too!); Comics Without Violence; Married To The Sea; and Garfield Minus Garfield (absolutely hilarious!). GOOD NEWS, EVERYONE! 06/23/08
Holy Moses! Crazy good news for me and you, dear Faces reader. To start off with, there are FINALLY new vote incentives up! Click away! Secondly, Faces is now on the FIRST PAGE of Google Search when you look for Faces Comic!! Thanks to all of you readers, sharers, and advertisers for helping Faces along! Shari, the last Face, is invading in July, along with info on Batgoiters School. Stay with me folks, as August will eat my spare comic time like a fat guy at a cake walk. Thanks again!!! Garrett H. |
OH, THAT SUMMER WIND... 06/03/08
Firstly, I apologize for the slim amount of comics in May. Work has been eating my free (and relaxed) time, and that will continue the rest of the summer. In August I'm driving cross-country for school, so that will be a sparse month for new strips, too. For June and especially July, expect regular updates of twice a week and the revelation of Shari, the last lead Face! You'll also find out more about Batgoiters School of Damnation and Pagan Rituals! Thanks to those of you who vote: I'll try to have new incentives up this summer twice a month. As well, there are now 4 shirt designs in the store. Even if you don't buy anything, check 'em out! JUMPING THE SHARK 05/06/08
50 comics! Thanks to everyone who reads and supports Faces (not many of you yet, but it means just the same)! I also hope my video game joke didn't offend any of you. Most webcomics I read deal with vg's in some form or another, but that's not what Faces is about. All about the characters, friends. And you first faithful readers know that! That's why I've decided to jump the shark right away and to hell with looking back. I'm still figuring out how ads on the Interwebs work -- which sites my ads would do well under -- and am going to continue that for the forseeable future. As well as other things... That's why you may have noticed the new "MERCH" button on the main page. Using Printfection technology, you can now wear TWO Faces Comic designs! Boys & girls! There's one of M.C. Lollipop (who will show up very soon) and the other with the eight main characters as of now. Is it too early for me to have shirts? Of course! But that doesn't mean they won't look sexy on your body anytime! I just got the first M.C. Lollipop shirt, and it looks very nice. These are nice quality shirts and prints: light and bright. And as the Faces readers keep spreading the word (and my ads hopefully work some Interwebs magic) these shirts will stay waiting for you faithfuls. So again, THANK YOU!! ARCHIVE = COMPLETE 04/21/08
Hi, everyone! The entrie archive is now updated -- revised strips, new buttons, and sleek new mini-navbars on each page. I hope the slight delays in comics were, at most, bearable. Thanks for your patience! I now have Project Wonderful ads available on the front page. If you're interested in getting some buttons up on Faces, let me know. As well, new vote incentives are up for this week (I'll try to have new ones every week, but don't take that as written law just yet).
